How is your project going?

We hope your project for the Meta Horizon Start Developer Competition is coming along smoothly! With the deadline on December 9th, we wanted to send a friendly reminder to ensure everything is on track. Additionally, we wanted to remind you of the different resources available to you. 

You can edit your submission as much as you would like before the deadline, so start one today here.

Here's a handy checklist to review while finalizing your world

✅ Submission Checklist:

  • Project as defined in What to Build. 

  • Do you have a 3-minute video that showcases footage of your Project as viewed on a Meta Quest device or via XR Simulator or another equivalent emulator?

  • Did you complete all the submission steps on Devpost? Your project should show it is SUBMITTED from the My projects page. This will require:

    • URL to your hosted demo video on YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook Video, or Youku. 

    • Selection of Track

    • Text description that explains your inspiration, how you built it, future plans for improvement (suggested length: 500 words or less).

    • Target Launch Date, if not already published. 

    • Name(s), email(s), and role(s) for each team member (if applicable).

If you've checked all the boxes above, you're well on your way to submitting a stellar project! Remember, submissions are due on December 9, 2025 before 12:00 P.M. Pacific Time. Start or continue editing your project today.
