Judging Criteria

All submissions will be evaluated based on the equally weighted criteria below:

Innovation & Creativity measures how original, creative, and relevant the concept is, and how it leverages Meta Horizon/Quest’s unique capabilities.

To score highly in Innovation & Creativity, the game or application should showcase a meaningful update or differentiate itself from what is currently available in the Meta Horizon Store. To score highly in Experience Design, the game or application should consider the essence of the player’s experience from the moment they enter. Great experience design will lead the player to quickly grasp where to go and what to do, to find the fun or purpose easily and receive a fulfilling experience.
